The 1-hour ‘Introduction to Meditation & Mindfulness’ consists of:
- A brief explanation of meditation, mindfulness, relaxation and attention
- 2 x 15-minute guided meditations, to demonstrate how it all works
- Opportunity for comments, questions and answers
- You will be taught two ‘spot-meditations’ of 1-3 minutes each, to conclude the session.
The goal of the seminars is to demonstrate how you can get your mind and body into a relaxed state even when you’re anxious and under pressure.
You will learn how relax your body and calm your mind and be mindful, productive, focused and alert throughout your day.
Gone are the days where you need a quiet space with no distractions. There is no need for incense, mantras or a guru to practice meditation and get successful results.
No matter what your job entails – meetings, sitting at a desk, project deadlines, driving, taking flights and during interaction with others. You will learn how to use mindful meditation during all of the above and more.
Employees who meditate tend to be more reliable, healthy and committed. They interact with others in a calm manner and are less reactive; they also make fewer mistakes and take fewer days off work sick.
Sometimes we cannot control our external environment, however, we can control how we react. Learning meditation techniques allows you to de-clutter your mind and enable you to be mindful when dealing with adverse situations. The better you feel, the more you’ll enjoy life and your career.
